HR Generalist

International Plus is a leading company in the medical tourism industry, providing high-quality healthcare services to international patients from around the world. As our team continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and motivated HR Generalist to join our People Experience team in Istanbul.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on HR professional who can manage day-to-day HR operations while supporting our employees and contributing to a positive, professional workplace culture.

The ideal candidate is organized, solution-oriented, confident in handling employee matters, and comfortable working in a fast-paced and international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily HR operations and employee lifecycle processes
• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
• Support attendance, leave, payroll, and personnel processes
• Handle employee relations and provide guidance on workplace matters
• Support performance evaluation and performance management processes
• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
• Coordinate disciplinary processes when required
• Support employee engagement and employee experience initiatives
• Prepare HR reports and maintain HR-related data
• Identify HR needs and proactively support employees and managers
• Collaborate with department managers regarding staffing, performance, and employee-related matters
• Support training, development, and organizational initiatives
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is preferred; candidates with other academic backgrounds are also welcome to apply.
• 2+ years of experience in HR, preferably in an HR Generalist or HR Specialist role
• Experience with recruitment and employee lifecycle processes
• Experience in employee relations and HR operations
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with HRIS or HR management systems is a plus
• Fluency in English and Turkish is a must
• Experience working in an international or multicultural environment is an advantage
