Chief Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Chief Accountant to join our finance team in Adana/Yumurtalık Free Zone branch of our company—a leader in the sandwich panel sector that is growing by exceeding its targets thanks to its strong, dynamic structure and active team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accounting professional with strong technical expertise and leadership skills to play a key role in the financial management of the Central Asian and Turkish business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the company's day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS / Kingspan Group accounting and tax regulations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Turkish accounting and tax regulations.
• Ensure full compliance with Turkish tax legislation, statutory reporting, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and payroll accounting and ensuring compliance with Kingspan Group financial and control environment.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and government authorities.
• Prepare and submit tax declarations and statutory reports on time.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial controls.
• Supervise and develop the accounting team.
• Support management by providing accurate financial analysis and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification recognized in Türkiye (e.g. SMMM certification or equivalent Turkish accounting qualification).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant position gained in either amanufacturing company or anaudit firm is essential.
• High knowledge of Turkish Accounting Standards, Turkish Tax Legislation, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience with ERP accounting systems (preferably SAP FI-CO modules) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English is essential.
• For male candidates: military service completed.
• Driver's License: Class B.
