Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Foreign Trade, International Trade, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field,
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• At least 3 years of experience in customs and import operations,
• Preferably knowledgeable and experienced in the Inward Processing Regime (IPR) and its applications,
• Experience in international procurement, with strong knowledge of quotation processes, supplier evaluation, and price analysis,
• Hands-on experience with SAP ISIS and Procurement modules,
• Good knowledge of import, procurement, logistics, and foreign trade processes,
• Knowledge of customs regulations and foreign trade practices, with the ability to follow relevant legislative changes,
• Strong analytical, planning, organizational, and follow-up skills,
• Detail-oriented, careful, well-organized, and results-driven,
• Strong communication and coordination skills,
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Job Description

• Managing international procurement and import processes in line with company procedures and applicable regulations,
• Following purchase orders, shipments, and customs clearance of imported materials,
• Coordinating with customs brokers, logistics companies, suppliers, and internal departments,
• Obtaining and evaluating supplier quotations based on price, lead time, payment, and delivery terms,
• Creating and monitoring purchase orders and shipment processes,
• Obtaining and evaluating freight and transportation quotations,
• Reviewing and controlling import documents, including proforma invoices, commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading,
• Following up on supplier payments and bank transfers,
• Managing import processes under the Inward Processing Regime (IPR),
• Following up on required permits, certificates, and official approvals,
• Monitoring changes in customs and foreign trade regulations and taking necessary actions,
• Monitoring and reporting import costs,
• Monitoring the performance of suppliers, logistics companies, and customs brokers,
• Ensuring accurate and timely SAP transactions for procurement and imports,
• Preparing procurement and import reports for management,
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
