Internal Audit Specialist / Assistant Specialist

As Sefine Shipyard, operating under Koloğlu Holding, we continue our activities with a strong focus on quality, sustainability, and operational excellence in the shipbuilding industry. We are looking for an Internal Audit Specialist / Assistant Specialist to join our organization in Yalova and contribute to our internal audit and compliance processes.
Responsibilities
- Support the execution of internal audit activities in line with risk-based audit plans,
- Participate in operational, financial, and compliance audit processes,
- Evaluate internal control, risk management, and corporate governance processes and provide improvement recommendations,
- Prepare audit documentation, reports, and related analyses,
- Support the follow-up of audit findings and corrective action processes,
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal procedures and audit methodologies,
- Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations,
- Follow developments related to audit practices, regulatory changes, and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related fields,
- Minimum 1-5 years of experience in internal and/or external audit,
- CIA certification or other related certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, CFA, CFE, CISA, or SMMM are considered an asset,
- Knowledge of International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing,
- Strong analytical thinking, reporting, and presentation skills,
- Advanced command of English,
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment,
- Open to learning, development, and dynamic working environments,
- Preferably located in Yalova or open to relocation.
