Job Description

Koppert Türkiye is looking for an analytical, detail-oriented and highly collaborativeOperations Planning Specialist to join our operations team.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing operational plans by considering sales forecasts, production capacity, inventory levels and supply requirements. The Operations Planning Specialist will coordinate activities between production, shipment, sales and supporting functions to ensure an effective balance between supply and demand.

The primary objective of this position is to translate sales forecasts into operational reality and manage the company's supply-demand balance in terms of volumes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop operational plans based on demand forecasts, resource availability and capacity constraints.
• Prepare and maintain hive production plans.
• Prepare and monitor raw material and production input plans in line with hive production plans.
• Plan demand and supply activities for all product groups.
• Ensure coordination between production, shipment, sales and related teams.
• Monitor production progress, analyze plan-versus-actual deviations, identify risks and communicate findings.
• Proactively identify potential supply-demand imbalances and propose corrective actions.
• Translate sales forecasts into operational plans and keep them updated.
• Monitor and report product-level plan-versus-actual performance.
• Organize operational planning meetings and prepare the required reports.
• Contribute to annual production, supply and capacity planning activities.
• Provide volume-based planning data for budgeting processes.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and coordinate relevant stakeholders to increase operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related analytical discipline.
• Experience in production planning, operations planning or a similar field is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Good command of Microsoft Office applications.
• ERP/Netsis experience is an advantage.
• Sufficient English proficiency for business communication.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
