JobPurpose
- To ensure timely and accurate availability of raw materials and semi-finished goods required to support approved production plans.
- To execute material replenishment activities while balancing material availability, inventory health, and working capital objectives.
- To act as the operational owner of material planning execution and day-to-day material readiness.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in material planning, MRP execution, or purchasing planning, preferably in flexible packaging or process manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of demand–supply balancing, inventory optimization, and planning trade-offs
- Solid understanding of raw materials used in flexible packaging (e.g., films, inks, adhesives).
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred); strong MRP knowledge is essential.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong execution-oriented analytical capability.
- Detail-oriented, structured, and disciplined in follow-up and issue resolution.
- Strong communication skills for internal coordination and supplier interaction.
- Proficiency in English.
KeyResponsibilities
- Optimize total inventory targets for common materials held across multiple locations through stock consolidation logic.
- Validate location-based inventory targets against warehouse capacity constraints (m² / m³) in coordination with Logistics.
- Execute and analyze weekly MRP runs, reviewing purchase and production proposals and communicating validated requirements to Procurement and Production.
- Monitor and manage inventory health, including excess, slow-moving, obsolete, and blocked stocks, with particular focus on critical film materials.
- Track reservation constraints for critical raw materials and prepare reuse or scrap scenarios for obsolete stock exposure.
- Manage shelf-life rules (MRL), including monitoring expiring materials and coordinating blocked stock processes when required.
- Define and maintain inventory policy parameters for existing and new SKUs (e.g., safety stock, cycle stock, EBQ, MTO/MTS logic) and analyze deviations against actual performance.
- Monitor material-related dashboards and forecasting indicators to assess supply
