Contract Management is a central team and is responsible for supporting all functions ( tax, audit and advisory) for preparing the legal business contracts and if needed to serve as the contract person for clients on contractual and legal matters.This responsibility includes the need to understand and adhere to policies and associated procedures of KPMG as well as being well aware of local law requirements .

Contract Management Assistant manager will be part of the contract management team reporting the director of central service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in law
  • At least 5-6 years experienced in Legal and/or Contract Management positions
  • Extensive knowledge of Turkish Law with specialization in Business Law, Turkish Code of Obligations, Data Protection Law and IT Law
  • Experience in contract drafting and negotiation
  • Proactive and self-motivated profile
  • Strong follow-up skills to meet deadlines and comply with timelines
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work schedule in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Excellent command of English both in verbal and written
  • Knowledge and experience on standards and regulations issued by authorities (such as  Public Oversight Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority, Capital Markets Board and Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency )

   

Job Description

  • Supports Contract Management Team in preparing, negotiating and finalizing contracts with clients, suppliers or other third parties by taking both legislation and KPMG procedures into consideration
  • Works in close cooperation with Quality and Risk Management department, which sets overall professional risk management and quality control policies and monitors compliance, ethics and independence issues, to ensure the contracts are in line with required standards.
  • Continuously and closely follows up any changes in legislation regarding contractual matters that may have an effect on contracting processes for services  provided by KPMG
