Accounting Specialist

Kumho Tire Istanbul is looking for an Accounting Specialist to join its team.

Kumho Tire Co., Inc. is one of the leading global manufacturers of PC, LT, and TB tires. At our Istanbul office, we are seeking a new team member to strengthen our accounting and finance operations within the operations department.

Job Description
• Perform daily accounting transactions in SAP FI (AP, AR, GL, bank, and expense postings)
• Manage and monitor accounting records related to import operations
• Control invoices and manage payment processes
• Handle Accounts Receivable/Payable processes and perform reconciliations
• Manage month-end closing and reporting processes
• Support internal and external audit activities
• Manage payment insurance applications, including submission, documentation, and follow-up with relevant parties until completion
• Communicate effectively with financial advisors, customers, and payment parties
• Work closely with sales and documentation teams to ensure smooth import transactions

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting/finance
• Experience in accounting processes within importing companies (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI module module is a plus
• Knowledge of local and international accounting practices
• Good command of English
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Excel and reporting tools
• Residing in Istanbul (preferably on the European side)

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in foreign trade and import accounting operations
• Experience with multi-currency transactions and international operations
