The role of the Senior Software Engineer/Architect with high standards of excellence, sense for sound software design principles, and the capacity to lead by example through focused production of high-quality code and software designs.

Responsibilities:

·       Play a key role in developing and driving a multi-year technology strategy for anew Lead Engagement Platform

·       Architect and write code to implement high quality, scalable, future proof services that will have effective system boundaries and will support long term vision & strategy

·       Have a deep understanding of general infrastructure and drive changes to support technology strategy forLead Engagement Platform and enable engineers across the department to deliver value efficiently.

·       Lead technical debate across their entire platform and help make durable, documented decisions.

·       Lead your teammates by example, as an extremely senior member of the team you will let your code and system designs demonstrate the path the team should follow and also be hands-on by leading and pushing all development efforts

·       Coach, train and support in the future software engineers in their growth in technical track

Requirements:

· Minimum 5+ years of experience in engineering, with preference for candidates with a mix of start-up and large-company experience

· Hands-on experience driving software transformations within high-growth environments at scale 

· Good communication skills with demonstrated experience driving teams forward and ability to influence decisions 

· Experience with multiple web technologies (Java / Python / JavaScript / Go ) that would allow you make confident strategic decisions on choosing the right tech for the job

· Experience with Monolith, SOA and Microservice architectures that served as business and/or technical platforms.

· Experience Hybrid Cloud environments (Kubernetes,AWS experience required, GCP optional)

· An interest in complicated problems and working with many different teams identifying architectural boundaries and platform interfaces. 

· You care about automation and have eventually also experience in Test Driven Development.

· Preferably, you have worked in an agile environment before.

· You value quality as well as clean code and learning new things.

· Good English skills.
