 Reporting relationship

• Reports directly to the Production manager.

• Together with the production manager, manages and oversees all functions

within the Production department

• Trains all existing and new personnel on the different phases of different dairy

products production and quality control processes and on any other relevant

domains.

Key responsibilities

• Together with the production manager, manages and oversees all functions

within the Production department.

• Ability to perform equipment and machine troubleshooting and process

malfunctions; escalates concerns to Production Manager

• Oversees all product preparation, correct recipe execution, quality control and

production of all factory dairy products i.e. white cheese, yoghurt, yoghurt

beverage (ayran), cream cheese and other possible future production lines.

• Supervises all production operations in accordance to Production managers’

guidelines

• Trains relevant staff and team members on all factory dairy products production

and preparation.

• In charge of all collected milk quality control and assurance procedures prior to

product production phase.

• Supervises raw material handling, beginning and final product development and

production with all relevant staff and departments

• Works cross-departmentally with all sides and line managers and staff to ensure

smooth production flow in the factory.

• Oversees the Quality assurance and control department to meet product quality

standards and proper milk collection and handling procedures are followed.

• Performs sample and/or trial operations as needed

• Maintains and oversees safe and clean work environment throughout the

production facilities.

• Performs first piece, periodic and finished product quality checks including

texture, correct product composition, safety, and proper preparation to ensure

conformance to standards

• Informs Production Manager of quality concerns and necessary upgrades.

• Takes on any other assignments assigned by company’s management

Job requirements

• The successful candidate must have at the minimum a Bachelor’s degree in

either chemical engineering, food engineering, agricultural or agro-food

engineering or in similar/equivalent fields.

• . Strong command in English is strongly preferable.

• Minimum of 10 years’ continuous work experience in similar roles and

responsibilities with a proven track record and all reference details of prior

employers available.

• Have no restriction to travel abroad.
