Finance & Accounting Supervisor

We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Supervisor to join our Finance & Accounting Department as our organization continues to grow. The successful candidate will manage Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), and Foreign Trade Accounting processes, while leading system and process improvement initiatives with an analytical mindset. 

Job Description and Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), and Foreign Trade Accounting processes in compliance with applicable legislation and company procedures.
• Oversee customer and supplier invoicing, account reconciliations, receivables and payables aging analyses, collections, and payment processes.
• Monitor customer credit risks and credit limits, and take the necessary actions to collect overdue receivables.
• Oversee import and export accounting transactions, customs and logistics expenses, international payment processes, and regulatory requirements regarding the repatriation of export proceeds.
• Monitor the matching of purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices, and manage RPA and automation applications.
• Manage weekly and monthly payment plans, cash flow, and departmental reporting; prepare financial and operational reports and present them to management.
• Coordinate the team, analyze existing processes, and lead efficiency-oriented system and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in accounting and finance, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), Foreign Trade Accounting, collections, and payment management processes.
• Knowledge of tax and accounting regulations, import and export procedures, Incoterms, and regulations concerning the repatriation of export proceeds.
• Advanced written and spoken English proficiency.
• Preferably proficient in using IFS or SAP ERP systems.
• Experience in process improvement and automation applications, or a willingness to develop in these areas.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Well-developed team management skills and a results-oriented approach.
