GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

For our company Mecalac İş Makineleri, operating in İzmir Aegean Free Zone, we are looking for a“Welded Manufacturing Production Manager” with the following qualifications.

General Qualifications

• Graduated from the Engineering Faculties of universities, preferably Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, or Industrial Engineering departments,
• At least 5 years of managerial experience in the welded manufacturing sector,
• Advanced level of English proficiency,
• Strong organizational, leadership, team management, and project management skills,
• An analytical mindset with strong strategic planning and negotiation competencies,
• Knowledgeable and experienced in continuous improvement (Kaizen), lean manufacturing, and 5S practices with active implementation experience,
• Strong communication skills with the ability to establish effective collaboration with different departments.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure that welded manufacturing production processes are carried out on time, with high quality and efficiency, in line with the production plan,
• Support production processes during the launch of new projects and guide project teams,
• Ensure the creation of procedures, work instructions, and standards related to production processes, and keep existing documentation up to date,
• Evaluate revision needs in production and maintenance instructions and ensure the implementation of necessary changes,
• Analyze operational and occupational health and safety risks within the area of responsibility and plan preventive actions,
• Develop and implement efficiency improvement projects by applying continuous improvement techniques such as 5S, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing,
• Conduct root cause analyses to reduce production errors and ensure the implementation of corrective and preventive actions,
• Evaluate technical changes affecting product quality and coordinate the implementation of approved changes on the shop floor,
• Monitor and report production performance indicators (efficiency, quality, delivery, cost, etc.),
• Prepare training and development plans to support the professional and personal development of the team under responsibility, and carry out these plans in cooperation with the Human Resources department,
• Strengthen effective communication by ensuring interdepartmental coordination and lead the removal of managerial barriers,
• Actively contribute to the evaluation of corporate risks as a member of the Risk Management Committee,
• Take part in identifying, analyzing, and planning actions related to organizational risks and opportunities.
