Senior Product Engineer (Go & React)

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Product Engineer who combines strong software engineering skills with product judgment, curiosity, and a drive to build and ship.
Our product is at an advanced stage of development. You will take ownership of the existing codebase, complete the remaining improvements, prepare the system for launch, and lead its ongoing development.
This role combines product planning and hands-on engineering. You will be the project’s primary engineer, working directly with stakeholders while independently managing technical execution from requirements to release.
What you’ll do
- Take ownership of an existing Go and React application, including its architecture, codebase, and development workflow.
- Assess launch readiness, identify gaps, and deliver the improvements needed for a reliable release.
- Translate business needs and user feedback into clear requirements, priorities, and a practical product roadmap.
- Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, frontend interfaces, and database integrations.
- Own deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvements to performance, security, and reliability.
- Make pragmatic technical decisions that balance delivery speed, maintainability, and user experience.
- Establish clear documentation and repeatable development and release processes.
- Explore practical uses of AI in the product and development workflow, with careful evaluation of quality and usefulness.
What we’re looking for
- At least 10 years of professional software development experience, including substantial ownership of production applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with both Go and React.
- Broad full-stack expertise and a solid understanding of modern application architecture, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD.
- Experience taking products through launch and supporting them in production.
- Strong product thinking: the ability to understand user needs, define scope, prioritize work, and turn ideas into working software.
- The ability to independently own day-to-day engineering delivery as the project’s primary developer.
- A proactive approach to identifying problems, proposing solutions, and following through.
- An active interest in AI tools and emerging technologies, supported by a willingness to experiment and learn.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Availability to work full-time from our office in Ataköy, Istanbul.
Nice to have
- Experience in healthcare, medical technology, or digital health.
- Experience integrating AI capabilities into production applications.
- Previous work in a small team with broad technical and product responsibilities.
