QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

The leading international travel agency  “Meeting Point Turkey” who is operating 8 different region in Turkey, is grow by leaps and bounds in Istanbul region and now looking for “Office Assistant".

  • University degree from a reputable university
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in an international organization
  • Excellent English language skills (multi-national office environment)
  • Knowledge of basic office equipment (i.e., pbx, copier, fax, scanner etc.)
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capable in planning, organizing and scheduling with ability to multitasking
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and confidentiality


İŞ TANIMI

Purpose of the Job
 
The Office Assistant staff is responsible for the reception and switchboard in order to represent the company as first contact point of the whole team, as well as providing administrative support to the team members on day to day tasks.
 
About the role
 
  • Greets, screens and directs visitors in the office to specific locations and relevant personnel
  • Answers and routes telephone calls, answers general questions, directs  incoming calls or takes messages if related personnel is out of office
  • Handles and keeps records of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Ensures the booking of conference/meeting rooms in communication with the team members
  • Coordinates with management to resolve administrative issues
  • Coordinates office maintenance work and cleaning services
  • Performs administrative and office support activities for multiple top level managers
  • Establishes, maintains, processes and/or updates files, records and other documents
  • Tracks status and orders, purchases, maintains or distributes as needed
  • Proactively identifies and resolves executives needs
  • Assists with event planning

Preferred Candidate

More than 2 years of experience
