Operations Supervisor

Location: Istanbul, Turkey

At MR.DIY, our stores depend on deliveries arriving as planned. We’re looking for an Operations Supervisor who can keep track of the daily outbound operation, coordinate the people involved, and take ownership when plans change.

You’ll oversee the flow from shipment readiness through dispatch and store delivery. Working closely with warehouse teams, service providers, and stores, you’ll keep schedules aligned, follow up on progress, and resolve issues before they affect the next stage of the operation.

What you’ll do

• Coordinate daily outbound operations, keeping shipment readiness, vehicle availability, and dispatch schedules aligned.
• Follow up on deliveries, confirm progress, and address delays or changes with the relevant teams.
• Act as a day-to-day point of contact for service providers and stores, giving clear updates and following issues through to resolution.
• Set priorities for the team and make sure pending actions have an owner and are completed.
• Monitor operational KPIs, including on-time dispatch, delivery performance, and service issues.
• Investigate recurring delays and delivery problems, identify their causes, and implement practical corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, delivery statuses, and operational reports.
• Improve coordination and reduce unnecessary manual follow-up across the outbound process.
• Work with warehouse, planning, and logistics teams to manage daily volumes and changing requirements.
• Ensure outbound activities follow agreed procedures and safety standards.

What we’re looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in logistics or warehouse operations, with a strong understanding of outbound processes.
• Experience supervising operational teams and coordinating with external service providers.
• A good understanding of how shipment preparation, dispatch, and delivery connect.
• Confidence using KPIs and operational data to spot problems and improve performance.
• Strong follow-up skills: you keep track of open issues and make sure they are resolved.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and make clear decisions when schedules change.
• Confidence using WMS and ERP systems in daily operations.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with warehouse teams, service providers, and stores.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
