QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the organization:

Own and steer the execution of the Marketing Strategy, delivering  all relevant KPIs. Lead the execution of plans, creative content, KPI’s that are in full alignment with Marketing Brand Activation strategy and Global. As brand’s first marketing spokesman; lead and inspire inhouse resources (shared with other brands) including Content-Visual Creation, Visual Merchandising, Community Marketing, Trade Marketing, GTM media-brand activation and PR to deliver and execute ideal consumer journey through brand funnel (aligned with overall strategy).

Key Responsibilities (Functional):  

  • Deliver the Brand Marketing strategy, ensuring consistent messaging and creative content is executed across all communication platforms
  • Support the Director in creation of short- and long-term marketing communication strategy based on planned sales budget and specific business unit objectives and drive the development based on the consumer and marketing objectives
  • Own and directly contribute to the planning of the Omni-channel Marketing activation calendar and plan all Market initiatives where relevant to ensure one single message to consumer
  • Lead the MWB (marketing working budget) allocation across the Market alongside the sport categories within local guidelines as part of planning process
  • Inspire and cordinate (inhouse) shared Trade Marketing stakeholder in development and execution of seasonal account specific brand activation plans
  • Engage, inspire and influence (inhouse) shared visual creation team to ensure that brand has adequate, effective, and locally relevant tools to implement the go-to Market plan successfully
  • Ensure consistent execution of planned marketing activities aiming timely flawless campaign execution across channels and delivery against Brand KPIs
  • Ensure perfect relationship with Product Department aiming Global Sport Category priorities and newnesses are activated in selected strategic (gold) doors including Wholesale, www and DTC
  • Generate post campaing roi analysis to identify what went well, could be improved for future implementations etc.
  • Actively support Brand Lead with creation of Seasonal Sell In & Concept-to-Consumer tools for respective sales channels  
  • Have good understanding of email marketing and brand message activation in e-channel how to approach e-consumer inline with global guidelines
  • Have proven track of social media management background with solid awareness of full set of social media kpis (also eager to develop new digital projects (e.g. youtube)
  • As a lifestyle and/or serious runner ensure perfect collaboration with (inhouse) shared Community & Sportsmarketing stakeholder aiming solid brand footprint visibility across respective Events & Running Communities in key cities. Actively support and lead Spoma stakeholder with creation of a healthy running driven opinion leaders and brand ambassodor portfolio.  Ensure Spoma’s choosen influencer / runner assets has been wisely and efficiently implemented and activated within the brand strategy across year
  • Lead efficient brand driven media buy and social media strategy to ensure maximum target consumer (incremental traffic and awareness to Ecom) impact to drive brand heat and digital performance targets
  • Ensure traditional (print-paid) and digital pr channels are best utilized with proper product messages aligned with annual activation calendar 
  • Create exceptional, consumer focused briefs for agencies and upper management to execute seasonal marketing initiatives against
  • As the marketing guardian, ensure all communication platforms across WHS and DTC have a consistent brand tone, creative and messaging
  • Ensure creation of perfect marketing communication bridge between market and global hq

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of the full marketing mix (advertising, events, sponsorship, retail, pos) with a major brand or retailer (sporting goods industry preferred)
  • Beeing a lifestyle and/or serious runner would be a strategically preferred plus
  • Having dynamic awareness for market driven content and beeing close to the respective consumer
  • Media planning experience focused on Brand Media and Digital KPIs
  • Understanding the matrix organisation and embracing collaboration across (shared) marketing divisons 
  • Advanced user of MS Office suite of products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation and planning skills


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6 - 8 years experience in marketing teams.
  • Media Planning experience (mainly Digital / Social Media management)
  • Experience in content creation process for 360° campaigns.
  • Preferrably embracing Running as a lifestyle
  • Advance usage of Powerpoint
  • Advanced English
