Project Engineer

Our company, operating in the automotive, aerospace, and defense industries, is seeking aProject Engineer who will actively contribute to new product development and launch processes, bringing value through technical expertise and project management capabilities.

Location: Bursa | Kayapa Organized Industrial Zone

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in the automotive, defense, aerospace, or home appliance industries, with expertise in plastic thermoforming.

• Proficiency in English, with the ability to use it actively in business processes.

• Strong ability to read, interpret, and analyze technical drawings.

• Proficiency in 2D/3D design software; advanced knowledge of CATIA or SolidWorks is preferred.

• Knowledge and practical experience in IATF 16949 Quality Management System and core quality tools such as APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and PPAP.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Strong analytical thinking, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform manufacturability analyses and technical feasibility studies for new product projects.

• Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) for new products and coordinate the manufacturing processes of production tooling and equipment.

• Plan new product launch processes and coordinate and monitor all stages through sample delivery.

• Coordinate the implementation of product revisions and engineering changes in collaboration with relevant teams.

• Take an active role in new part quotation, APQP, and engineering change processes.

• Ensure effective communication and coordination with internal and external customers throughout project execution.

• Monitor project schedules, technical requirements, and process performance, identifying potential risks and developing appropriate solutions.
