QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

    Roles and Responsibilities:

• Identifying workforce knowledge gaps in specific safe work practices and generating high quality data that can be used to identify risks and opportunities to improve workplace safety,
• Familiar with various operations throughout the oil and gas industry, such as drilling, fracking, cementing and coiled tubing operations, wireline, etc.,
• Familiar with ISO, OSHAS and other relevant industry standards and management systems,
• Collect daily reports from site safety officers and review,
• Assist with collection, recording and analysis of accident or near miss data to determine the causes of an incident,
• Periodically asses emergency and safe work preparedness through inspection of fire-fighting rescue, life-saving, spill remediation, personal protective equipment, fall protection, etc. ,
• Generate and submit weekly reports to Field Managers. 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Related Fields
• Class B safety specialist certification,
• Ability of working in a multi-cultural environment,
• Good command of English,
• Competent in using MS Office applications, 
• Good knowledge in workplace, process safety and environmental protection,
• Good organizational and interpersonal relation skills.
