Demand Planner

We are looking for a "Demand Planner" for our global partner which is one of Fortune 500 companies and lead of American manufacturers of industrial tools and household hardware and provider of security products and located in Ataşehir.

Responsibilities

• Use analytical tools and skills to support EMEA ANZ markets with the best possible demand

model and take responsibility for baseline forecast planning.

• Take responsibility for long-term demand outlook to correctly reflect the growth of EMEA

ANZ markets.

• Facilitate and drive the Sales and Operations Planning and forecasting processes for certain

Business Units/Clusters.

• Work with Cluster Operations and promotional demand planners on building the complete

demand outlook for EMEA ANZ markets.

• Closely collaborate with demand planners managing promotional activities and promo

effectiveness and pro-actively challenge and build S&OP consensus.

• Using S&OP processes, track and pulse supply and demand to ensure inventory and inbound

meets demand forecast.

• Develop baseline demand forecasts based on demand patterns and business trends.

• Maintain the integrity of the forecasting system to improve forecast accuracy. Ensure

system consistently reflects rolling 36 Months demand forecast.

• Perform market analysis and determine customer demands.

• Build and sense check baseline forecasts and perform root cause analysis of demand issues

and provide permanent resolutions.

• Drive optimal forecast accuracy to achieve targets.

• Support preparation of management reports for Sales & Operations Planning. Prepare ad-

hoc analysis requests from Business Units Leads.

• Perform history maintenance.

• Action market phase-outs and actively support the process for product discontinuances,

SKU rationalization and E&O reduction.

• Align and support all supply chain initiatives and lean culture projects.

• Build and proactively maintain relationships with other supply chain colleagues across the

region.

• Constantly seek opportunities for process improvements.

Requirements

• Higher Degree - Economics/Supply Chain or other relevant, or equivalent through

experience

• Experience in planning and/or forecasting

• Experience in extracting and segmenting data to facilitate data analysis

• Strong analytical skills and methodical thinking (data analysis and process driven)

• Knowledge of ERP systems / experience with JDA/SAP would be an advantage

• Strong English - written and verbal

• Excel - advanced use: use of filters, v-lookups, pivot tables, creating complex calculations

with nested functions, etc.

• Pro-actively seek for solutions

• Self-reliant, hands-on approach

• Detail-oriented, able to take independent action and works autonomously
