Position Overview
As a Fresh Graduate Core Network Engineer, you will joinHuawei’s telecom network division. The "Core Network" is the central nervous system of mobile communications—it manages data routing, call switching, and security for millions of users.
In this role, you will transition from university theory to real-world practice. You will receive structured training to help deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Huawei’s cutting-edge 4G and 5G core network solutions for major telecom operators.
Key Responsibilities
Network Deployment: Assist senior engineers in commissioning, configuring, and testing Huawei core network software and hardware.
Troubleshooting & Support: Analyze network logs and signaling traces to diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring high network stability.
System Upgrades: Participate in software updates and patch installations on live or test network environments.
Customer Interaction: Collaborate with local telecom operators to provide technical updates and support daily operations.
Requirements & Qualifications
Required Education & Basics
Education: A recent Graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Networking Basics: A solid foundational understanding of TCP/IP, routing/switching concepts, and basic OS commands (Linux/Unix).
Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, a desire to learn complex systems quickly, and fluent communication skills.
Preferred Skills & Tools
Simulation Tools: Hands-on experience with lab simulation software likeCisco Packet Tracer, GNS3, or Huawei eNSP.
Analysis Tools: Familiarity with packet capturing and analysis tools, specificallyWireshark.
5G & Telecom Concepts: Basic knowledge of 5G core network architecture (such as Service-Based Architecture, AMF, UPF) orvirtualization (Cloud/NFV/Kubernetes).
