Position Overview
We are seeking ambitious, tech-savvy, and fast-learning Recent Graduates to join our IP Engineering team atHuawei. This role is a pipeline for future technical experts and leaders within Huawei. You will undergo rigorous on-the-job training, work alongside world-class network architects, and gain hands-on experience with Huawei's cutting-edge routers, switches, and network automation tools.
Key Responsibilities
Network Deployment & Integration: Assist in the commissioning, configuration, and testing of Huawei IP network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls) for major telecom carriers or enterprise clients.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide tier-1 technical support to identify, analyze, and resolve network hardware and software issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
Project Delivery: Participate in network migration, upgrading, and expansion projects, ensuring minimal downtime and strict adherence to protocol.
Customer Communication: Maintain professional communication with clients, providing updates on technical issues and project milestones.
Continuous Learning: Master Huawei’s Datacom product lines and protocol stacks (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IPv6, Segment Routing) and actively pursue internal/external certifications.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required Education & Basics
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Solid fundamental understanding of the OSI Model, TCP/IP suite, subnetting, and basic routing/switching principles.
Preferred Qualifications (Certifications & Extra Skills)
Holding any of the following entry-level or associate-level certifications will be considered astrong advantage:
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing & Switching / Enterprise.
Huawei Certified ICT Associate (HCIA - Datacom) or any relevant Huawei associate certification.
Juniper Networks Certified Associate (JNCIA-Junos).
CompTIA Network+ or CompTIA Security+.
Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems or Python programming language (specifically for network automation and NetDevOps).
Prior experience with network simulators such as Huawei eNSP, Cisco Packet Tracer, or GNS3.
