Long Term Intern (Cloud Delivery & Sa)

We are looking for a long-term Cloud Engineer Intern to join Huawei Cloud team and support the development and operation of cloud-based systems. This role offers hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies, scalable architectures, and modern DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Support development and improvement of cloud-based applications
• Contribute to microservices and distributed system architectures
• Assist with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) processes
• Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance
• Participate in monitoring, logging, and performance tracking activities
• Assist in ensuring system scalability, availability, and security
• Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices

Qualifications

• 4th year student in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Able to commit to a long-term internship (minimum 6 months)

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of at least one programming language (preferably C#, Java, or Python)
• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts
• Familiarity with Linux and basic command-line usage
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and basic networking (HTTP, TCP/IP)
• Basic knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL)
• Familiarity with Git version control

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to cloud platforms (Huawei Cloud, AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Awareness of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, etc.)
• Interest in monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
• Interest in microservices and event-driven architecture

• Ability to work onsite in Istanbul
