GENEL NİTELİKLER VE İŞ TANIMI

Marketing Manager 

An exceptional opportunity presents itself for Marketing  Manager to be part of flagship Rixos Tersane İstanbul. It is a newly constructed hotel that will be representative of refine hospitality. Rixos Tersane İstanbul will present 432 bedrooms.

You will be part of a strong pre-opening marketing team who will be showcasing the property.


Responsibilities:


  • Execute marketing tactics, partnerships, programming and activations supporting the hotel.
  • Manage annual marketing activation plan and calendar focused on driving business into low & shoulder seasons while enhancing the guest experience during peak seasons
  • Create a content strategy for the website, social media platforms & email communications
  • Plan and communicate marketing plans and activities with operators
  • Support PR, social media and digital media tactics
  • Attend key operational meetings to ensure alignment with all hotel stakeholders
  • Perform other duties deemed necessary by management to support the organization
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction to the venue teams.
  • Communicate with employees using a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to and understand requests, respond with appropriate actions and provide accurate information. 
  • Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situations and/or heavy restaurant activity, serving as a role model for team and other employees. Interact with other department personnel and venue staff as needed.
  • Make decisions and take actions based on previous experience and good judgment, sometimes revising procedures to accommodate unusual situations.
  • Ability to manage third-party agencies, partners and vendors
  • Conduct a benchmark on a regular basis with key competitors ( local, national, international) and in the luxury space ( retail, travel) to determine opportunities to improve our position
  • Active understanding of hotel business mix, consumer profile, and insights

 

Requirements:

 

  • Undergraduate and/or graduate degree,
  • At least 4 years of experience in the position of Marketing Manager,
  • Having developed creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and leadership skills
  • Experienced in team management,
  • Fluent in English,
  • An eye for aesthetic
  • Attention to detail and organization
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mobile, emerging, and media applications
