We are building our foundation in Istanbul and looking for a visionary marketing leader to build our brand from zero.
The Role
We are seeking a creative, data-driven, and highly entrepreneurial CMO / Head of Marketing.
You will not be managing an existing legacy brand; you will be creating a new one. Your mission is to take our unique packaging concept and turn it into a compelling brand story that resonates with Turkish consumers and stands out aggressively on crowded supermarket shelves.
You will work directly alongside the Founder/CEO to define the Go-To-Market strategy, acting as both the strategic architect and the hands-on executor of our marketing vision.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Strategy & Positioning
Build the Roto-Moto brand identity from scratch: define our voice, target audience (Gen Z, Millennials, on-the-go consumers), and unique value proposition.
Position our innovative packaging as the ultimate differentiator in a highly commoditized market.
2. Go-To-Market & Digital Campaigns
Develop and execute the launch strategy across Turkey.
Lead digital marketing, social media strategy (Instagram, TikTok), and influencer partnerships to create viral awareness around the "unboxing" and usage of our packaging.
Manage PR, events, and guerrilla marketing initiatives to generate buzz with a startup budget.
3. Trade & Shopper Marketing (B2B2C)
Work hand-in-hand with the Business Development Manager (BDM) to create powerful B2B pitch materials to win over supermarket buyers.
Design disruptive Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM) and shelf-visibility strategies to guarantee our jars catch the consumer's eye in stores (Migros, Macrocenter, etc.).
4. Product & Consumer Insights
Gather consumer feedback during the micro-production phase and use data to refine messaging.
Collaborate with the packaging and production teams to ensure the brand vision aligns perfectly with the physical product.
Candidate Profile
Experience: 5-8+ years in Brand Management, Trade Marketing, or as Head of Marketing within the FMCG sector (Food, Beverages, or Snacks).
The "Builder" Mindset: You must have a proven track record of launching new products or brands to the market. You are comfortable working without a massive corporate agency budget and can be scrappy and resourceful.
Creative & Analytical: You have an eye for outstanding design and packaging, but you also know how to measure CAC, ROI, and conversion rates.
Local Pulse: Deep understanding of Turkish consumer psychology, pop culture, and media consumption habits.
Languages: Native Turkish (essential for copywriting and consumer communication) and Fluent English (for strategic alignment with the CEO).
