Founded in 2007 as a subsidiary of KOLOĞLU HOLDING, SEFINE is one of the few shipyards in Turkey capable of simultaneously delivering new shipbuilding, military projects, ship repair and maintenance, ship conversion services, and large-scale steel structure projects. Located on the shores of the Sea of Marmara in Yalova-Altınova, the shipyard spans an area of 300,000 m², making it one of the largest shipyards in the region and holding a prominent position in the industry.

Since its establishment, Sefine has been a pioneer in the Turkish maritime sector. With over 6,000 employees, including subcontractors, it stands out as the largest shipyard in terms of installed capacity, business volume, and project diversity. It offers high-quality and high-capacity ship repair, maintenance, and conversion services with the region's largest dry dock, 90,000 DWT Post-Panamax capacity and two floating docks with lifting capacities of 40,000 tons and 75,000 tons respectively.

We are looking for an experienced, responsible, and dynamic"Strategic Planning Specialist" to join the Sefine Corporate Development team.

 Responsibilities

• Conducting and monitoring the company's "Strategic Planning" cycle from end to end
• Systematically tracking sectoral trends and competitor analyses, and performing periodic SWOT and PESTEL analyses and reporting
• Creating and monitoring performance indicator sets (KPIs) in alignment with strategic goals and objectives
• Ensuring the alignment of department-based action plans and targets with the company's main strategies
• Contributing to corporate risk management processes from a strategic perspective
• Ensuring coordination with cross-functional teams in corporate development projects
• Executing and following up on corporate self-assessment processes within the framework of the EFQM Excellence Model
• Conducting studies to disseminate and standardize strategic planning methodologies within the organization
• Preparing strategic decision support reports and presentations to be submitted to the management team

Qualifications

• Graduated from Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or Business Administration departments of universities
• Having at least 3 years of experience in strategic planning or business development fields, preferably in "Heavy Industry" sectors
• Effectively using strategic analysis tools such as SWOT, PESTEL, and Porter’s Five Forces
• Having practical experience in EFQM processes and quality management systems
• Possessing strong financial analysis and feasibility reporting skills
• Proficient in MS Office programs, especially advanced Excel and PowerPoint applications
• Capable of data visualization and transforming complex data into meaningful reports, with effective use of Power BI tools
• Having awareness in creating digital transformation strategies or technology roadmaps
• Possessing advanced analytical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic perspective skills
• Having high level of planning, organization, and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proficiency in presentation
• Prone to teamwork and capable of working harmoniously with various stakeholders
• Residing in or able to relocate to Yalova, Kocaeli, or the Anatolian Side of Istanbul
