We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join our team at an internationally operating manufacturing company located inEskişehir, Türkiye.

In this role, you will be responsible for the procurement of indirect materials. You will manage supplier relationships, conduct sourcing and negotiation activities, monitor supplier performance, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to support operational excellence and continuous improvement.

We are looking for a proactive and analytical professional with strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of building effective supplier partnerships and contributing to a dynamic international manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities:

Manage the procurement process for indirect materials and services in line with company requirements.

Identify, evaluate, and communicate with suppliers to obtain the best commercial and operational solutions.

Request quotations, compare offers, negotiate prices and commercial terms, and prepare purchase orders.

Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and monitor their performance to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and ensure timely procurement.

Follow up on purchase orders and resolve any delivery or supplier-related issues.

Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures and purchasing policies.

Support cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

Experience in indirect procurement within a manufacturing environment.

Good command of written and spoken English.

Experience using SAP.

Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
