Purchasing Specialist (Fragrance Raw Materials)

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Specialist (Fragrance Raw Materials) to manage the purchasing operations of raw materials used in fragrance production and report directly to the Category Manager.

In this role, you will:

• Create and follow up raw material purchase orders in line with MRP and material requirement plans,
• Manage order confirmation, lead time, shipment and delivery processes with local and international suppliers,
• Closely monitor inventory levels, open purchase orders and critical raw material requirements,
• Take necessary operational actions in case of delays, shortages or other supply-related issues,
• Ensure the smooth and complete execution of import, logistics and purchasing documentation processes,
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date order, price, lead time and supplier information in the ERP system,
• Work closely with Quality, Planning, Warehouse, Import and Logistics teams,
• Prepare regular reports on purchase orders, deliveries and supplier performance and report them to the Category Manager.

We would like to meet you if you:

• Have at least 5 years of experience in raw material purchasing,
• Preferably have purchasing experience in the fragrance, flavor, cosmetics or chemical industries,
• Have experience in purchasing operations for natural raw materials, particularly essential oils,
• Are familiar with international suppliers, import operations and international shipment processes,
• Have strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and Excel,
• Have a good command of written and spoken English,
• Have strong follow-up, coordination, problem-solving and communication skills.
