We are seeking a CDM Manager (Construction Technical & Design Office Manager) to be based onthe Asian side of Istanbul for an international Data Center project currently under construction, meeting the qualifications listed below:
General Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline,
- Minimum 15 years of experience in large-scale projects (preferably data centers, energy, or industrial projects),
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking),
- Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and project management processes,
- Experience with digital project management platforms and data-driven workflows,
- Strong coordination and organizational skills,
- Detail-oriented, disciplined, and structured,
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical thinking,
- High sense of ownership and accountability,
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced project environment,
- Residing in Istanbul,
- Valid driver’s license and able to travel as needed.
Job Description
- Manage and integrate design, procurement, planning, commercial, and document control functions,
- Ensure seamless information flow across all disciplines and maintain alignment between teams,
- Guarantee that approved technical documents are delivered to site in a complete and timely manner,
- Drive a structured, predictable, and controlled project execution approach,
- Manage all documentation and workflows through a centralized data management system (CDE),
- Enforce the “Single Source of Truth” principle across all project stakeholders,
- Coordinate effectively between design, procurement, and construction teams,
- Control technical document approval processes and prevent incomplete or uncoordinated data flow,
- Track and integrate site quality and non-conformance data via Autodesk Build,
- Ensure smooth Technical-to-Procurement workflows from design approval to purchasing,
- Support change management processes under FIDIC-based contracts,
- Contribute to monthly cost forecasting and ACR (Anticipated Cost Report) preparation,
- Identify project risks early and ensure timely mitigation actions.
