Set in the backdrop of the history, culture and academic experience of over 130 years of Tarsus American College, Tarsus SEV Primary School has been serving Turkish education for 26 years, upholding the vision and mission of Health and Education Foundation. Standing out with its remarkable physical facilities in the region located in the Talas campus right across Tarsus American College campus, our institution is accredited by the CIS (Council of International Schools).

Each student at Tarsus SEV Elementary Schools is raised as a strong communicator in their mother language and in English, well-adapted to the changing and improving world in alignment with Ataturk’s principles, who take ownership of national and universal values, enjoy arts and sports, are skillful in using information technologies and sensitive to the local and global issues, and who make a difference with their social awareness.

As Tarsus SEV Primary School, we continue to use a holistic education approach which places student in the center in order to raise global citizens prepared for the outside world. Everything starts with love (hence the acronym ‘SEV’ in Turkish) we say, as we are looking for prospective team mates to join our staff for the academic year 2023 - 24.

PRE-REQUISITES FOR APPLICANTS

• Holder of an English Teaching undergraduate major at university, or holder of Teaching Certificate following graduation with an English Language Arts, American Culture and Literature, Translation and Interpreting in English or English Culture and Literature undergraduate programs, preferably with a post-graduate degree,
• At least five years of experience in their field,
• Personal pursuit of self-improvement and the goal of excelling in their field of expertise, enjoying being productive,
• Being up-to-date with and a strong user of educational technologies,
• Have the potential for preparing students for the careers of the future through innovative educational practices,
• Strong interpersonal relationships, communication and teamwork skills,
• Have an enthusiasm for learning, high motivation and self-confidence,
• For male candidates, having completed their military service.
