Position Overview
- The Sales Director will be responsible for leading the company’s commercial strategy, sales performance, and market expansion across domestic and international markets.
- This executive role will oversee the entire sales organization, develop strategic customer relationships with manufacturers and industrial clients, and drive sustainable revenue growth.
- The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong commercial acumen, deep industry knowledge, and a proven. ability to scale B2B sales organizations in complex industrial environments
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute the company’s long-term commercial strategy
- Drive sustainable revenue growth and profitability
- Identify new market opportunities and expand strategic customer portfolio
- Lead pricing strategies aligned with global steel market dynamics
- Strengthen relationships with key accounts across:
- Automotive
- White goods
- Construction
- Machinery and industrial manufacturing sectors
- Negotiate strategic contracts and framework agreements
- Domestic & Export Market Development
- Expand sales activities across domestic and international markets
- Strengthen the company’s presence in European, Middle Eastern and regional markets
- Identify new export opportunities and strategic partnerships
- Sales Planning & Performance Management
- Lead annual sales planning and forecasting processes
- Establish clear sales targets and performance metrics
- Optimize product mix, margin performance and customer profitability
- Monitor sales performance through data-driven decision making
- Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop the company’s sales organization
- Build a high-performance commercial culture focused on results
- Recruit, mentor and develop sales managers and key account managers
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with production, supply chain, finance and operations teams
- Align commercial strategy with production capacity and operational planning
- Support product development and innovation initiatives
- Reporting & Executive Communication
- Report directly to senior leadership and board members
- Provide strategic insights on market trends, pricing dynamics and competitive positioning
- Lead the development of advanced sales analytics and reporting systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related fields
- MBA or postgraduate degree preferred
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in B2B industrial sales
- Strong experience in steel, metals, or heavy industry sectors
- Experience in international markets and export operations
