QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Key accountabilities - To work closely with the team and Head Chef on day-to-day operation. Ensuring production in the restaurant at high standards, Managing the entire daily operations perfectly
- To practice innovation and creativity by constantly introducing new using techniques of wok. Set up section to work useful.
- To be responsible for the total quality of food prepared.
- To match volume of food prepared in accordance with business thereby prevents food wastage and keeps food cost within budget.
- To achieve a high standard of food quality which meets the expectations of the guests
- To ensure that all kitchen equipment is kept in good working conditions and that they are serviced in accordance with suppliers’ recommendations thereby protecting their long-term investment value.
- To ensure that the kitchens are in a neat and clean condition thereby posing no safety threat to kitchen staff.
General requirements - Minimum 2 years of experience in the same position and total 4 to 5 years of experience in a la carte restaurant kitchens, luxury hotel at high standards, Michelin or 50 Best restaurants plus.
- Excellent knowledge of the wok cooking.
- Aiming to work steady in the long term.
- Closely following up the world and new gastronomy trends.
- Excellent command of the Asian and European Culinary skills traditional and modern.
- Excellent knowledge of systems, ordering and inventory.

General requirements - General knowledge of food technique.
- Familiar with kitchen equipment.
- Good hands-on approach.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Food & Beverage outlet with similar standards and expectations (Hotel based or Standalone).
- Service etiquette and 5-star service standard.
- Degree or Diploma in hotel management.
- High level understanding of culinary knowledge.
