QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Event Specialist with the following qualifications to be assigned toThe Seed, which hosts national and international events and organizations at the Sakıp Sabancı Museum.

Job Summary:
The Event Operations Specialist is a collaborative organizer and data analyst who frequently leads interactions with both internal and external partners to manage spending, contracts, logistics, and ensures all relevant parties are kept informed of the multitude of moving parts necessary to successfully execute an events. During event execution, the Operations Specialist is responsible for driving all operational aspects as well as maintaining relationships with onsite partners and personnel.

We want driven candidates with proven operational skills and event experience/interest. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the event planning process from start to finish through operations and data analytics
• Understand, execute, and track budget
• Maintaining a working knowledge of the complex needs of a wide variety of events
• Maintaining relationships with vendors and venues
• Efficient in operations
• Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports

Required Skills:

• At least 2 years' professional experience in the field required; background in events preferred.
• The ability to express fluently both in written and as well as oral form of English.
• Strong computer skills, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS-Project or similar project management program.
• Ability to work in a varying schedule including nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent organizational skills
