QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

With a 50-year experience in the agricultural commodity sector, Tiryaki is the largest agricultural commodity trading company in Turkey which adds value to agricultural commodities with managing the supply chain efficiently. Tiryaki ensures the products cultivated all around the world reach our table productively. We are looking for a Market Research Analyst to join to the Marketing Organization.

The Market Research Analyst will be responsible for the following:

      Taking part in creating strategic roadmaps for the commercial team conducting market, competitor, consumer and sector research for Brand and Product categories.

      Identify and evaluate methods and procedures for data collection

      Work with research agencies to design, implement, monitor and gather insights to drive improved business results.

      Commission primary MR, write clear and comprehensive briefing documents, make final selection of agency based on cost, value, methodology and expertise, lead projects to deliver research on time and to budget.

     Translate consumer research information into definite action plans for the company, and present key findings to local leadership.

      Perform product tests, support analysis and reporting

      Being a pioneer in the creation of research budgets and being responsible for budget follow-up


QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Bachelor’s degree inBusiness Administration, Economics, Statistics, Sociology or a related field

·       Minimum 3-5 years of Market Research industry experience,

·       Fluency in English

·       Proficiency in MS Office programs,

·       Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills,

·       Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex information, large amounts of data, involving multiple variables into comprehensive, yet concise, actionable insights.

·       Familiar with methodologies for research design, both qualitative and quantitative (i.e: questionnaire design, focus group moderation/in-person interview research design, data analytics)

·       Advanced business knowledge and ability to translate business objectives into research objectives

·       Full understanding of research techniques, information sources, and statistical analysis/analytic techniques as relevant to role

·       Comfortable working with Consumer/ Market Panel Softwares (Nielsen Retail and Ipsos Household panel)

·       No travel restrictions
