We are looking for aLogistics Specialist to join our supply chain team, responsible for managing customer orders, coordinating logistics operations, and ensuring efficient, compliant, and customer-focused service delivery.
This role directly contributes to customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and continuous improvement in a dynamic industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Order Management & Customer Operations
- Manage end-to-end order lifecycle in ERP systems (INDS & DSIN)
- Monitor and update orders based on backlog and pending order reports
- Coordinate delivery planning and execution with relevant stakeholders
- Handle returns, cancellations, and consignment processes
- Ensure daily communication with customers regarding order confirmations and updates
- Manage on-order entries and tracking activities
Sales & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as a key interface between sales teams, sales support, and logistics operations
- Coordinate with Credit Risk team for order approvals and release processes
- Maintain and update customer master data (address updates, system definitions, etc.)
- Support online ordering processes and ensure smooth coordination across stakeholders
Logistics Operations & Documentation
- Prepare and control delivery notes and shipping documentation
- Organize and monitor transportation processes
- Coordinate and follow up product transfers between warehouses
- Support warehouse and dispatch operations
- Manage export operations (excluding transit processes)
Reporting & Data Management
- Prepare and monitor periodic internal and external reports
- Track operational KPIs and support performance monitoring
- Maintain ISO KPI data and documentation (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, IATF 16949)
- Track supplier performance through customer portals
- Ensure accurate inventory and operational data tracking
Compliance, Systems & Continuous Improvement
- Actively support and promote HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards, ensuring all logistics operations are performed in line with company policies and safe working practices
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and global standards, including documentation systems (QDMS)
- Contribute to process optimization and operational efficiency initiatives
- Participate in Lean / Six Sigma (Green Belt) projects
- Identify improvement opportunities based on operational data and KPIs
- Support digitalization initiatives and contribute to innovation-driven projects
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or order management
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP is a strong advantage)
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of order management and logistics processes
- Experience in transportation coordination and export operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel)
- Experience with reporting and data analysis
- Familiarity with ISO standards and process-based working environments
