We are looking for a Purchasing Operations Specialist to support the daily operational processes of Purchasing. The role will maintain purchasing-related master data, manage standard and supplier-related activities, and act as a key point of contact for Sales, Supply Chain Management, Operations and suppliers. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Handle system-driven standard and supplier-related purchasing activities, including transactions connected with Manufacturing Units. 
• Process and track simple RFQs in C4C within a high-mix, low-volume environment.
• Perform selected purchase-ordering activities and support the daily purchasing workflow. 
• Act as the point of contact for service enquiries from Sales. 
• Check supplier portals and provide accurate, timely information to Sales. 
• Load, process and update purchasing data in the ERP system, including prices and item purchasing information, to ensure price conformity with Operations. 
• Identify and eliminate data-error sources that delay or disrupt the value chain. 
• Support data and process harmonization across regions by applying lean-management principles. 
• Implement approved process changes in daily operations and embed them into the organizational structure. 

WHAT YOU BRING 

• University degree, commercial training or an equivalent qualification.
• 1-2 years of experience in an operational business environment. 
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. 
• Good written and spoken English; German is an advantage. 
• A team- and goal-oriented working style.
• Solution-driven communication skills and a strong focus on data quality. 
• A pragmatic, self-driven approach with a clear get-the-job-done attitude.

• On-time quotation performance (OTQ). 

• Reduction of data-error messages and errors that disrupt the value chain. 

• Timely and accurate data corrections.
