What you’ll do

• Operations, KPI Monitoring, Performance and Optimization of Packet Core Network to ensure 7 * 24 service availability and best customer experience.
• Member of EPC project for new generation networks.
• Managing new KPIs and existing ones to improve service and system quality.
• Developing proactive operation to reach main targets.
• High level problem troubleshooting.
• Working with case related team/vendor members.
• Vendor management team member for PS Core Vendors.
• Develop operation plan and strategy to increase performance.
• Managing GW-U, UPF, AMF, SMF, GW-C, NRF, NSSF, SCEF, NEF, PCC (IoT), SMF, Corporate AMF, SMF, GW-C, Corporate GW-U, UPF, EPG, SGSN-MME, ePDG and PCRFs operational work plans.
• Giving guidance in developing Operation & Maintenance instructions.
• Keep in scope systems and services 7*24 up and running.
• Making all requested works suitable to change management work flow and maximo regarding minimum customer effect.
• Provide necessary support to other teams.
• To hit the targets defined by company/boards.
• Managing internal knowledge transfer to team members.
• Sharing MoPs and guides for fresh team members to increase their competence.
• Make troubleshooting in case of faults or service outages and solve problems.

Who you are

• Degree qualified in a Science or an Engineering discipline.
• Min 5 years of work experience in the telecom industry with hands-on in Packet Core Network.
• Significant experience of GW-U, UPF, AMF, SMF, GW-C, NRF, NSSF, SCEF, NEF, PCC (IoT), SMSF, Corporate AMF, SMF, GW-C, Corporate GW-U, UPF, EPG, SGSN-MME, ePDG and PCRFs.
• Significant experience of PCRF Systems.
• Deep understanding of Packet Core call flows, Data Roaming, Charging.
• Significant experience on scripting.
• Deep understanding of security systems.
• Strong prioritisation skills.
• Fluent English.
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and excellent problem solving skills.
