International Supplier Development Manager (m/f/d) Newbuild Rolling Stock Freight

For our Business Unit Railcar Europe in Hamburg we are looking for you as International Supplier Development Manager (m/f/d) Newbuild Rolling Stock Freight as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

•          Searching, scouting and development of new suppliers for freight wagons (EU, non EU, world- wide)
•           Leading the qualification process for new suppliers
•           Implementation of developed suppliers into serial production
•           Monitoring new suppliers and/or development opportunities
•           Further development of monitoring tools and processes
•           Analyse best purchase / market benchmarking of suppliers
•           Newbuild of freight wagons, modular assets and wagon steel components

Your profile:

•         Successfully completed bachelor`s or master`s degree with technical background
•         Experienced in procurement of railway wagons/steel constructions and international supplier management

•         Profound knowledge of industrial production or technical knowledge of industrial goods

•         Industrial knowledge in the rail sector is desirable
•         Profound negotiation skills and assertiveness
•         Excellent command of English, additional east European language desirable
•         Good communication skillsGood knowledge of common Microsoft applications
•         Good knowledge of common Microsoft applications
•         High willingness to travel (to Hamburg and internationally)
•         Working place: Hamburg, remote negotiable
