Gearbox Sales Engineer (İstanbul)

WEG, a global leader in energy and automation technologies operating in more than 135 countries worldwide, is expanding its operations in Manisa with a new gearbox production facility. For this growing organization, we are looking for a Gearbox Sales Engineer who will be responsible for sales, customer relations, and market development activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering,
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant field,
• Good command of English, both written and spoken,
• Residing in Istanbul with no restrictions on travel,
• Strong verbal and written communication skills,
• Customer-oriented mindset,
• Strong representation skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage sales activities for gearbox product groups within our newly established gearbox production facility in Manisa,
• Analyze customer needs and provide suitable gearbox solutions, offering technical and commercial support,
• Manage the existing customer portfolio and carry out initiatives to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty,
• Conduct regular customer visits to develop new customers and business opportunities,
• Provide technical consultancy to customers throughout the sales process,
• Prepare necessary reports related to sales and market activities,
• Share market feedback with product development and marketing teams to contribute to continuous improvement,
• Promote products and solutions by participating in sales meetings, trade fairs, and industry events,
• Closely monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities,
• Contribute to sales strategies, pricing, and contract processes in line with technical requirements,
• Work in coordination with WEG’s global sales and market development teams,
• Monitor commercial, administrative, marketing, and logistics targets and manage processes in line with company procedures.
