To strengthen our team, we are looking for Material Planning Engineer which will be located in our plant, Akyazı, SAKARYA

What will you bring with you?

• Execute material planning activities in line with production schedules and customer demand requirements
• Create, monitor and confirm material orders with suppliers, ensuring timely material availability for production continuity
• Monitor critical material status, identify potential shortages or supply risks, and implement corrective actions with relevant stakeholders
• Maintain optimal inventory levels by balancing supplier lead times, safety stock requirements, and minimum order quantities (MOQ)
• Analyze material consumption trends and develop action plans to improve inventory turnover and reduce excess stock
• Coordinate closely with suppliers, transportation providers, warehouse teams, and production departments to ensure smooth material flow
• Follow up project-related materials and support new product launches by ensuring material readiness
• Maintain and update material master data accurately within ERP systems
• Prepare and deliver material planning reports, shortage analyses, inventory reports, and KPI dashboards on a timely basis
• Support cost reduction, logistics optimization, and process improvement initiatives within the supply chain organization

What will you bring with you?

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
• 2 to 5 years of experience in material planning, supply chain, production planning, or logistics operations 
• Good understanding of material planning processes, inventory management, supplier management, and production planning concepts
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP MM (Oracle or similar ERP systems are also acceptable)
• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel for reporting, analysis, and planning activities
• Fluent English and Turkish communication skills, both written and spoken
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
• Result-oriented mindset with strong planning and organizational capabilities
• Ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Currently residing in or willing to relocate to Sakarya or Kocaeli
