We are looking for an Ship Operations Specialist for YILDIRIM Group’s shipping subsidiary,YILMAR Holding, to be assigned at our headquarters in Maslak, Istanbul.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in the Faculties of Maritime
• Preferably minimum 3 years of work experience
• Excellent command of English
• Outstanding analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
• High self-motivation, target and result-oriented mindset
• Eager to follow the developments in maritime transport
• Good knowledge of MS Office programs

Job Description:

• Coordinate and carry out all operational processes within the commercial activities of dry cargo ships owned by the Company
• Contact leaseholders and ensure that the relevant service is run smoothly
• Record the financial data of fleet ships and follow up the entry of payments
• Contact agencies for the loading and unloading stages of ships and manage the process
• Request relevant port costs from agencies, conduct negotiations to minimize costs, follow up payments and perform checks based on final accounts, and finalize files through debit and credit follow-up
• Transfer invoices regarding the expenses of fleet ships to digital systems
• Follow up the payments of ship fuel purchase invoices and invoices issued for the cargo service purchases
