Procurement Contracts and Business Development Lead

We are looking for a Procurement Contracts and Business Development Lead to join our Supply Chain and Logistics Department at our Dilovası Factory.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement contract management, cost analysis, strategic sourcing and indirect procurement
• Experience in the manufacturing industry (preferably machinery, metal, or foundry).
• Minimum 5 years of team management experience.
• Experience with ERP systems (Canias knowledge is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier and subcontractor management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience in contract management, commercial negotations and cost analysis.
• Ability to read technical drawings with knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Advanced English communication skills (both written and verbal)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Procurement Contracts & Business Development team, including workload planning and team development
• Prepare, maintain, and manage commercial agreements and contracts with approved suppliers
• Manage pricing agreements, payment terms, and other commercial conditions for direct materials, mechanical and mechatronic components, and subcontracted manufacturing
• Conduct price analyses across all material groups and monitor market conditions
• Evaluate supplier price increase requests and manage the related approval process
• Develop and maintain the approved supplier list.
• Manage the commercial evaluation of new suppliers and new material sourcing projects
• Lead supplier development initiatives and cost reduction projects
• Manage quotation and commercial evaluation processes for indirect materials and services
• Maintain effective communication with local and international suppliers and follow import and customs procedures
• Support the continuous improvement of ERP systems within procurement processes
• Work closely with Purchasing Operations, Planning, Warehouse, and Logistics teams
• Collaborate with other supply chain departments (Procurement Contracts, Planning, Warehouse, Shipping)
• Support ERP system optimization for purchasing processes
• Contribute to process improvements within the procurement workflow
