For our growing team, we are looking for aSales Specialist; the role will be based in Maslak, İstanbul.
What You’ll Do:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Specialist will play a key role in driving international freight sales activities and expanding the customer portfolio in line with company targets.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies through market and competitive analysis.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the freight forwarding and logistics sector (air, sea, transportation).
- Analyze customer needs and create reports to provide appropriate action plans.
- Work in coordination with Operations, and Finance teams.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, to promote company services.
- Provide and follow up the appropriate documentation
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers, industry trends, and competitive developments.
- Monitor sales performance in line with targets and prepare regular reports
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies through market and competitive analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree from relevant university departments (Foreign Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields).
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the international ocean and air freight forwarding industry.
- Strong knowledge of ocean and air freight processes.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM programs.
- Ability to actively drive and no travel restrictions.
- Having an active customer portfolio is preferred.
