Position: Freight Forwarding Operations (Import) Senior Specialist
Location: Kozyatağı, İstanbul

Role Summary:
This role is a senior specialist level in Global Forwarding team under Logistics Department.

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description:

• Coordinate and manage import and domestic shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and carriers to arrange shipping schedules, and handle all necessary documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
• Prepare and process shipping and customs documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and export/import declarations.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and trade compliance policies.
• Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers and stakeholders on the status of their cargo.
• Collaborate and support sales team, identify areas for improvement and address efficient solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and changes in regulations that may impact freight forwarding operations.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related fields
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience directly handling Ocean, Road, Air, Rail shipments within a freight forwarder company required. 
• Commitment to excellent customer service, in support of both external and internal customers, utilizing effective communication and follow-up skills. 
• Previous experience using Soft ERP system is preferred.
• A bachelor's degree in logistics or business is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment at all levels of the organization, or work independently with little or no supervision, to achieve results. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs Word and Excel etc.
• Have an excellent attitude to learn and develop in all areas of the freight industry - Essential
• Able or willing to work in İstanbul, preferably Anatolian side.
