As a leading international company headquartered in Germany, we specialize in industrial commercial kitchen equipment and serve customers across multiple markets. To support our continued growth and maintain the highest standards of service and operational excellence, we are looking for a English-Speaking Import & Export Logistics Specailist to join our team in Istanbul.

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage import and export shipments from order placement to final delivery
• Organize transportation by road, sea, and, when required, air freight while optimizing costs, transit times, and operational efficiency
• Liaise with freight forwarders, transport providers, suppliers, warehouses, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations
• Track shipments and proactively resolve delivery issues, delays, damages, or discrepancies
• Prepare, review, and maintain shipping, transportation, and customs documentation in compliance with relevant regulations
• Support import and export activities, including customs-related procedures and documentation
• Provide customers with timely updates regarding shipment status and delivery schedules
• Monitor logistics performance and prepare regular operational and cost reports
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, reduce costs, and enhance service quality

What We Are Looking For

• Degree or vocational qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in import/export logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or supply chain operations
• Hands-on experience with import and export processes, particularly sea freight exports
• Basic knowledge of customs procedures, shipping documentation, and international trade regulations
• Strong understanding of transportation planning, shipment coordination, and cargo tracking processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken (required)
• German language skills are an advantage
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented approach to work
