ZEISS Turkey is currently seeking, highly motivated and experienced Sales and Application Engineer for its Research Microscopy Solutions (RMS) Business Unit in Ankara region.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering (Chemical, Metallurgy, Materials), Science (Physics, Chemistry)
• Product sales experience – 2-3 years field sales required
• Experience in working with electron microscopes is a plus
• Experience and good knowledge about tender process
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Proficient in both written and spoken English
• Willing to travel frequently
• No military obligation for male candidates
• Valid driving licence and active driving experience

Job Description

• Taking an active role in sales and application activities for the defined portfolio including academia and industry markets
• Performing regular Funnel Analysis of CRM opportunities
• Realizing indiviudal / financial and non-financial targets
• Providing software application training and application support to relevant customers
• Conducting competitor and/or competitive analysis
• Making regular customer visits and increasing market share with new customer acquisitions
• Preparing proposals, sales contracts and bargaining with the customers
• Following up sales projects until customer delivery
• Applying marketing activities in the field in line with company strategies, representing the brand and products in congress & meetings and organizations
• Developing opportunities to increase sales of new products and services in industry and universities
• Conducting product demonstrations and sample evaluations for the university and industry customers
• Staying ‘up-to-date’ on the latest technological & market / research trends and understanding customers needs
