Application Programmer

We are seeking an Application Programmer in our Global Information Technology & Organization department.

Candidates are expected to have the following qualifications and skills:
 

• University degree, programming majors are preferred,
• Preferably at least 3 years experience in application programming,
• Visual Basic 6, VB.NET, VBScript, Delphi, ASP, HTML, PHP, SQL knowledge,
• Developing projects on Oracle database,
• Preferably has been involved in insurance projects,
• Preferably having good level of reading, writing / speaking in English,
• Military obligation completed for male candidates,
• Strong analytical thinking ability,
• Strong technical familiarity and enjoy programming,
• Ability to work effectively as a part of a team ,
• Must be able to meet deadlines in a time-sensitive environment,
• Detail oriented,
• Strong communication skills.

İŞ TANIMI

• Developing Desktop / Web based, Policy, Claim, Fiduciary, Finance, Client Management, Proposal Management and Health&Benefit Applications using VB6 and Delphi on Application Server Architecture and VB.NET, ASP, PHP on Client/Server Architecture,
• Giving end-user support and bug-fixing for our applications above,
• Having programmer, analyst and project manager role in every request / project,
• Track, resolve and respond to tickets in Ticket Management System,
• In case of performance problem in functions, screens or reports, analyse and remediate SQL and Indexes. Contact with Global DBA Team when needed,
• Tracking routine IT operation tasks such as month closing process, daily user creation / deletion, weekly user termination list prepare & upload, quarterly user access review.
