QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking Full-time NESTs and English Teachers who will be mainly responsible for teaching and learning processes involved forpre-schoolers in Mavişehir/İzmir Branch of TAD Preschool.
EDUCATION: BA in Early Child Education. Alternatively, BA in English Language Teaching ( ELT), is also possible. Candidates who hold English-American Culture or Interpretation and Translation degrees must also have a pedagogic formation certificate. All certificates on Pre-Schoolers are appreciated. CELTA certificate is also preferable.
LANGUAGES: Fluent in English. Native English Speaker Teachers (NEST) are prefered.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years of experience in Preschool education at private schools (2-3 age groups)
SKILLS: Computer literate: ( Ms Office )
SOCIAL SKILLS: patient, friendly, good with children, cooperative, creative, open to new ideas, values professional development, organized and systematic, punctual, reliable, enthusiastic about contributing to the TAA brand and education systems.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Is mainly responsible for the teaching and learning processes involved for pre-schoolers in accordance with the mission, vision and the communicative teaching approach and methods adapted by TAA/TAD.
DUTIES INVOLVED:
To teach pre-schoolers effectively by following school’s curriculum and syllabus in a creative way.
To teach by making English a part of students’ life and thinking strategies in a fun way.
To focus heavily on listening, speaking and pronunciation in order to have students use the language.
To use a lot of audio-visual materials and toys in creative activities.
To promote ‘learning via using’ through the communicative approach.
To accommodate and cater for all learner styles and multiple intelligences not only through effective and multiple class presentations but also through creative activities.
To use a lot of creative activities, games and songs in order to establish and sustain motivation.
To follow new methods and techniques in pre-school education and apply them in class when necessary.
To keep student progress reports and inform the Administration and parents about students’ performances regularly.
To establish and sustain a positive and professional relationship with the students and the students.
To cooperate with and contribute positively to the Head of English Department and Academic Coordinators in the selection of books and necessary materials for each academic year.
To cooperate with the Head of English Department and the Academic Coordinators to develop the curriculum and syllabuses for each academic year.
To cooperate with the Head of English Department and the Academic Coordinators to prepare supplementary materials.
To attend Staff Meetings and parent’s meetings regularly.
To organize cultural and/ or academic activities involving the students.
