General Purpose

Perform configuration changes on RAN Network and system level to service the customer. Completes work based on configuration rules and reports the outcome of the execution. Troubleshoots for errors in configuration and assists subcontractor for completion of field works.

Main Responsibility Area

Supports and performs the network configuration on 24/7 shift in Operation and Maintenance Center (OMC). Reports to the OMC Manager. Responsible for correct execution of the network changes, prepare and provision plans on NetAct OSS system. The engineer is responsible for the end to end delivery.

Position Description

Remote Network integration & Configuration Management has end-to-end responsibility for managing network acceptance and changes to the network

• Perform remote configuration expansions for 2G & 3G
• Perform New Site Integrations and new builds on 2G ,3G and LTE sites
• Perform Rehoming of 2G/3G Sites
• Perform remote Integrations of BSC, RNC
• Perform Site parameter and adjacency modifications
• Implementing changes in RAN and BSS Elements (Flexi BTS/MR BTS/Node B/EnodeB/RNC/BSC)
• Provisioning Plan through Netact application
• Prepare and verify SCF and XML configuration files
• Define external alarms for new Integrations and Alarm checks and troubleshooting
• Support Fault rectification and troubleshooting, verifications with FLM Teams
• Preparing Plan for Change implementation
• Implementing 2G and 3G RF parameter changes
• Perform lock/unlock/reset operations
• Follow up workorders and closure of tickets
• Report outcome of the workorders, quantities, job types
• Report performance against Service Level Agreements and follow up
• Support to Performance management and NPO team

  Requirements

B.SC or technical school degree, preferably from Telecommunication or Electronic engineering. Previous experience with configuration management of Nokia or any other vendor is a plus.
