GENEL NİTELİKLER VE İŞ TANIMI
Vodafone, one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world, has mobile operations in 26 countries (partnering with mobile networks in 55 more) and fixed broadband operations in 17 markets, serving 446 million mobile customers and 12 million fixed broadband customers around the world. Vodafone is strongly committed to lead the digital transformation in the Turkish Market, where the company has been operating and investing heavily since 2006.
University degree from a relevant discipline, preferably from engineering
Base understanding of Telecommunications principals, GSM, GPRS, 3G
Experience in telecommunication industry and CRM would be advantageous
Good knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL
Good knowledge of UNIX and shell scripting
Basic knowledge of Oracle database administration
Ability to work with ambitious timelines in a dynamic, high-growth environment
Familiarity with 24X7 operations methodologies and IT management best practices (e.g. ITIL)
Fluency in English
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Good communication, documentation and reporting skills
Should be a good team player and should be able perform well under stress
İŞ TANIMI
We are seeking a Sales System Operations Specialist with the will and ambition to work in high performing Vodafone Team responsible for Leading Digital Transformation in Turkey, reporting to Sales Systems Operation Manager of Vodafone Turkey.
Responsible for all Level 2 operations (deployments, monitoring, troubleshooting, SLA/OLA management, etc.) for CRM services
Responsible of daily operational activities and availability of systems
Correction of erroneous data by intervention and workarounds
Perform troubleshooting, incident and error handling for systems
Adequate reports about performance, error-statistics, failures
Support migration of new and changed software, elaborate and perform production checks
Planning the future capacity of hardware and software
Provide assistance in new projects
Quality assurance of new and existing Mediation systems
Evaluation of tools and applications to manage/monitor systems
To ensure the service delivery is meeting the business and operational standards
Running analytical troubleshooting techniques on the systems/modules that malfunctioned
Being a “technical consultant” for junior and new beginner operation members as well as the others in the group.
Relationship building with the business through consultancy
Defining and implementing continuity solutions for each platform (e.g. Backup based availability and disaster recovery solutions )
Maintain operational readiness ensuring complete recovery in the event of a disaster. Attend DR tests regularly, as outlined in the company policies and procedures to ensure DR functionality. Update the policies and procedures as required.
Periodic monitoring and performance tuning of the systems
