QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Oualifications;
• University Degree (Computer/Electrical/Electronics Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
• 4-5 years experience with 2+ years of experience in unified communication systems, video and tele conferencing, audio and visual systems(professional video & audio equipments etc., VOIP, IP Telephony, IP Networking, enterprise video portal management, electronics fax systems, online meeting platforms, voice and networking protocols, topologies, and technologies ( TCP, UDP, LAN, WAN, H.323, QOS, MPLS and SIP)
• Experience on administering Cisco Video Codecs, Cisco Show & Share Portal, Cisco Telepresence Devices and communications, Telepresence management suite, Telepresence content server, Video Communication Server, Cisco Expressway, Cisco Unified Meeting Place, Jabber End-User Application, Live sessions using Webex Meeting, Training, Event Center is a plus
• Basic familiarity with Exchange, Active Directory, LDAP
• Basic knowledge of networking devices (Routers, Switches, Access Points)
• Being a team player
• High level of troubleshooting skills
• Positive and result oriented
• Ability to improve personel capabilities and skills under changing technology environments
• Innovative & Strategical thinking
• Effective presentation, reporting and documentation skills
• Preferably experience in supplier management
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Preferably owns Microsoft / Cisco Certificates (e.g. MCP, MCITP, MCTS, MCA, MCSE, CCNA)
Job Description
• Creating Advisory documents and presentations for future oppurtunities
• Continual research on new & emerging technologies, trends covering unified messaging & communication systems, video and tele conferencing, audio and visual systems
• Act as a solution specialist and create solution documents includes; system topology, high & low Level designs according to business requirements
• Participate in decision making process with him/her managers related on responsibility areas
• Ensure that all services are consistently and continuously available to the internal customers
• Monitor Unified Communication, online meeting systems and physical/application based end-user communication devices and take neccessary actions or escalate in case of failures, performance & connectivity issues
• L3 Technical & End-User support for live training, event and meeting sessions where required by internal customers
• E2E solution lead for high priority internal live events and perform necessary test and trial sessions for better customer experience
• Work as technical engineer on a functional basis, participate in resolution process of complex problems held by related suppliers
• Plan and manage IMACD services, equipment lifecycle activities specifically in his/her area of responsibility (e.g. Complete proactive and preventative system upgrades, New device deployments, maintenance of the devices,)
• Participate and support IT Client Systems deployments and improvement projects
• Creating feasibility studies and preparation of business justification documents
• Define and compose Standard, Policy, Process, Procedure documents
• Continual control and management of operational duties (e.g. SLA performance follow-up & reporting on managed services & maintenance agreements, systems monitoring etc.)
Organize End-User training sessions as required
